Pearl Swan
In Greek mythology, pearls were said to be the tears of the gods that fell into the sea.
In wetlands such as Doñana, drought and intensive water use have been transforming these ecosystems, which serve as a refuge for aquatic birds. This swan, adorned with pearls, symbolizes that change, that quiet loss.
The pearls embody the vulnerability of beauty, which, like nature, is constantly changing and capable of reinventing itself.
