Midi was the creature that inspired the creation of these altars. A bunny who accompanied me throughout my time in London, he was a constant presence in my life. When I arrived in Madrid, it was time for him to part ways. Out of the deep emotion I felt, I decided to craft this artist's object as a tribute to him.
Midi represents the memories of countless moments and an entire chapter of my life, embodying the bond many of us share with our animal companions. This altar features a drawer where I keep his mementos—things that remind me of him—and could also hold ashes or written thoughts. Surrounding him are various symbolic elements that celebrate his life. The altar serves as a place to reflect on what brought joy and honor our shared connection.
